Hometown Handle helps local businesses with their social media. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect through hometownhandle.com and what we do with it.

What we collect

We don't use advertising trackers. Our website host may keep basic technical logs.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your inquiry and to set up and run your free first month and any paid service after that. We also use it to contact you about your inquiry or your account, and to create social media content that fits your business. We don't add you to any email list.

Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the business: the form service, our website host, and the social platforms we post to on your behalf. We'll also share it if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while we're talking with you or working together. If you cancel, we delete it as described below.

If you cancel

If you cancel our service, we'll delete your information from our records. That covers your contact details, your business information, your marketing preferences, and any content or files you've shared with us. The only exception is anything the law requires us to keep, such as billing and tax records, and we keep those only as long as required. Posts we've already published to your social media accounts stay on those accounts, which you control.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to stop responding to your inquiry or not to contact you about it again. You can also ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Just email [email protected] and we'll take care of it promptly.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
